Pioneering Paddle Yoga
Lake Tahoe Yoga is now listing their classes on Airbnb. Our experiences are unique to our studio. In 2010 we pioneered the practice of Paddle Yoga on Lake Tahoe. After successfully building our Beach Yoga classes and many hours of gazing upon the beauty of the lake, it just made sense to find a way to take the practice out onto the water. Luckily, a local Paddle Shop had just opened and was willing to take a chance on us.
Our Experience Shows
We have simplified the process of booking and joining our Paddle Yoga Practices. We take care of everything prior to the session to make sure that when you arrive, we are ready to focus upon guiding you as paddlers and yogis.
Upon requesting a booking at Airbnb you will receive a confirmation email with our waiver forms that can be completed prior to the session. We'll keep track of all of the necessary details leading up to the session and contact you in the case of any changes.
Beginner Paddlers are Welcome
The #1 question we get asked is, "How many people fall in?" Our answer, "Few." Most of the practitioners who fall in do so because they want to, or they aren't paying attention. We do everything we can to help you feel comfortable stepping from the shore onto your board and while moving through Asana.
From the moment we meet up our intention is to help you to feel welcome, comfortable and ready to have a Yoga Adventure. Our experience of over 8 years of guiding these practices and deepening our knowledge of Yoga is expressed in everything we do.
When do most people fall in? On the way back to shore. After the practice they feel so relaxed that they forget the basics and let go of control while paddling back.
Practice In The Sand
If you still feel uncomfortable with the idea of balancing on a board while moving through Asana perhaps a Beach Asana practice sounds more accessible. You may book these on Airbnb, as well. Check out our schedule for additional classes not listed.
